    The trick to the bugs is to put your lights close to the water and the bugs will help attrack crappie

    thats the primary answer, finding a secure place to leave truck, trailer while fishing
    at night - upon return being able to load with confidence that your not going to get
    unwanted asistance .....concealed permit comes in handy, always fish with a partner
    This heightens the need to be more aware of surroundings. This takes fun out of
    fishing at night if you have to worry about whats on land when you return.

    Is it that bad at the ramp I know from personal experience Conway boat ramp is terrible for break inns got me twice
