    Default Perch jerkin on the Big O!!!


    Took my uncle to the Big O yesterday morning to do a little old school perch jerkin and did pretty good. We fished the North Shore out of Indian Prairie towards Tin House Cove jigging green tube jigs in the kissimmee grass and bull rushes. We ended up getting our limit of specks with several 13"ers and the biggest was 14". Also got 10 catfish and a few bass. Will post pics later..

    heard anything about how they are doing around southwest end of King's bar
    in bull rushes, single pole jiggin?
    Will be down in that area last of February on tournament

    thats basically the area i was fishing and thats what we were doing...they seem to be biting good all along the north shore.

    Mike, thats a trip you ought to make with us when we down there February 28th,
    to fish the "big O"
    Usually pre-fish Friday- stay of motel, tournament saturday and head home. Now thats a big lake...........and fun to fish..........

    If I was driving that far it would be to Stuart to go chase Mahi, and Sails, Along with some AJ's and Snapper of course. Oh and cant forget the night dock fishing for snook,
