Well, I was blessed with a weekend full of fishin in the great waters of central FL. We made the slabtogether on Sat & had a fun day with very high catch numbers & some quality fish. It was great to be back on Monroe in December catchin 2 lb fish with shorts on, could not have asked for a better weather day.
My buddy aka "coffee cup" is about to return to Canada for the winter next week. So after a great day Saturday we decided why stop, let's make 1 last trip for the year while he was here. We have had a great time since he arrived in Sept, we definately have never put so many fish just below & over 2lb in the boat. Thank goodness for the high water this year or whatever is causing the bigger fish to come out & play.
Today we didn't catch as many fish & the wind blew us all over the place. We did however catch some nice fish again, big fishes were at 1 lb 15.6 & 1 lb 15.2 with several just below that. I know he has had the best year ever & I/m glad to be able to enjoy it with friends, see ya'll soon.![]()

The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"
Nice going Bryan, you guys are on a roll. Good to see you and your Canadian friend catching nice slabs. Blowing too hard here to fish yesterday and today just as bad. We hope to be back on them Wednesday. Keep those post and pictures coming.
