I noticed there is a large group of you all that fish Harney & Monroe.
I'm probably the only guy you'll ever see in a 14ft power cat out there. I'm 5min from Sanford Marina so put in there most times.
First time crappie fishing this season and have no idea what I'm doing but always willing to learn. I'm a strictly saltwater guy gone fresh this year.

Thank everybody for the warm welcome. Rare to see that nowadays on some of the other forums I frequent. I'll be out tomorrow morning, but typically work Mon-Friday.
So do most of us, except fer a few crotchity ole Gewbers that are retired. I usually launch from Lake Monroe Park, and typically fish Saturdays and occasionally Sunday afternoons. Will not be out there this weekend though. But your welcome to follow along or seek me out on the water anytime. I will be the one fighting my dog for every fish I bring in the boat, or trying to get my dog back in the boat after he goes in after em.
I guess I should've stated that I work in a place where I can talk fishing and fishing rods ALL day long and no one seems to mind. Believe it or not, each fishery I learn, helps me greatly where I work.
From offshore rods, inshore rods, bass rods, ice fishing rods, musky, carp (overseas), baramundi, giant trevally, salmon/steelhead, trout fly fishing....etc, we get questions on EVERY fishery worldwide.
So while I "work," to me its not actually work, but it does force me to stay off the water on those days. I cant complain too much.
