Default Black Creek, Middleburg Fl. ???

I went to black creek last week and it's beautiful. Want to start fishing there but haven't found anyone with knowledge of the area. I have seen a few pics and comments on here but they are old post. Any local guys have any comments?

I have not done as good this year as I have the past couple years. If your going to troll jigs you should get some light wire jigs from lightwirehooker. There's a lot of stuff below that surface. I might make it over there sometime next week. Will let you know. Check this video out on the jigs.

lol, I fish 3 to four times a week, just dont post up a storm anymore. There is no secret to Black Creek that will help you limit out, its like any other creek. Fish the laydowns, bridges, and deep brush piles. You just gotta figure out what laydowns are good and which ones are a bust, and figure out what side of the bridges to fish during what tide. Time on the water out there is priceless.

Great advice SYG! I think that applies to most bodies of water.Sometimes that hunting and pecking around is some of the most fun.

Black Creek is tough fishing. It is a beautiful place that will break your heart. I have figured out I have my best luck speck fishing when the tide is coming in. Fish real deep around structure.

Oh and another thing. If you have to fish on the weekend be prepared to quit around 11:00 oclock. All the pleasure boaters, skiers, and jet skis will make it miserable for you. If you want to keep fishing you will have to go past the SR 21 bridge in the north prong or the 218 bridge in the south prong as these are no wake zones.
