    Previously hooked crappie heal fairly quick. When you catch a fish that has a hole in its mouth or lips, that fish was caught a very short time ago with in a few days. I have seen previously hooked fish mostly when I fish the same waters for several days in a roll. Usually the smaller fish get put back and the larger ones are taken. Tough question to answer. My two cents worth.

    Here are few of the ones I noticed today. I agree with anchorman! The heal fast and are not handle as much as bass. Their larger scales give further protection!
