i caught plenty of fish today (wed.3/19) longlining. one 2lbs. 2 oz. i found them staging prespawn in 11-14ft. of water. water temp. still 59-60 degrees. just FULL of eggs. lake level dropping very fast. dam gates wide open. muddy. popsicle was my best color. we just don't get any extended warming for the water temp. to go up . Just go fishing.......he hit the nail on the head.......Hammock, Boy Scout, Freeman, and Harvey Mill are producing fish. The catching males and some females in the pads with minnows are hair jigs. It was fun this past week.....came home today.

Hi Curtis and others: Stayed extra day, got home about 3pm this afternoon. We Fished Freeman and Boy Scout this morning and got 19 keepers. Total keepers was 61 for the trip. Arrived Thursday and came home today. Caught maybe 80 minus two the osprey's took away from me. I darn near jumped out of the boat. The bird hit the fish about 10 ft from the boat. After the second attack I started trying to keep the fish off the top of the water. Enjoyed seeing you again and meeting some of the regulars. Will be back soon. I can't enough about those litewire hooks.

Good to see you again. Love the fellowship of fishermen. This has been a great year and a busy one.
