Default Few more Talquin Pics March 19 2014

If I had to pick a time to fish Talquin, it would be around the full moon in March. There are fish in the pads, there are fish in the creeks, and there are fish in the mouths of the creeks in the deeper water. This week the bite was great once the sun came up. Bubblegum was by far the best bait. We trolled single jigs (1/16 Litewirehooks) and a #5 piece of lead and caught plenty of fish. We jigged the pads with hair jigs and caught fish.......great week with great weather.

I agree the fishing has been great! Though, it always is at Talquin!

Nice pictures & by the reports lately I'd have to say Talquin is on fire right now !!
The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"
