Thread: Fishing Partner Wanted

All my usual partners are busy. One has a newborn. Others have other plans or are out of town. I'm not going spec fishing, but indian river or mosquito lagoon for reds and trout Saturday. The spec spots I have the size and numbers have been tapering off. I might fish all day and then stay to dip shrimp at night. So you have to be willing to be an iron man lol. I'm making trip from Orlando so I have to make it pay off. Lots invested in gas etc... so I like to stay and get my monies worth.

I did well last week. Caught like 8 reds and one massive trout on Friday. I use cut ladyfish as bait. I caught and froze a bunch of ladies while in everglades this year. My bait is high quality. I keep my allowed slot fish so if you have a problem with that you need not come with me. Once I've done well on cut bait I switch to gulp shrimp and jerk baits and try to get a few trout and reds on artificials. But I make sure I have fish in boat cut baiting first.

I've added some example pics of fish caught last week my buddy from Mich happy and pics of my sled. I have led lighting on sides of hull for shrimping. My boat is an 07 G3 1652 delux center console Jon with a 60 HP 4strk Yamaha. I get where I'm goin quick.
