    Default A Tracker kinda thing......

Just wondering since more then a few of us own a Tracker boat, has anyone else had issues with their winches?

I stripped out my 2nd hand cranked winch in two years this past weekend.

Now looking into a duel sprocket @ $65

its not like my 170 TX weights a ton.

I never crank the eyelet into the rubber block, but yes up to it.

And just to be clear.......I luv my Tracker

is this normal and expected or a unknowingly abused Slowride?

I changed out my bunks, from soft 2X4's to composite decking. makes loading the boat much easier to load.
On the other hand, you have to be sure that you DO NOT undo the bow strap until you have the trailer backed to the water.
Now I don't have to worry about those pesky fungi growing out of the carpet, nor having the bunk boards break.
Speckanator is just waiting for me to report a JADA moment on my approach to a easier loading/unloading.

Yup found out about the standard wood bunks myself a year or two back at woody.......launched boat........... and bunks floated off with it

Its true that duck tape fixes all..........at least got the boat back on the trailer

replaced with cypress, no issues expected anytime soon.

Some wives are hard to find better than....I have had a couple that liked to fish, but didn't want to touch any kind of bait, haited to fish artificials, and refused to unhook the fish she caught....enjoyed all the time I was able to spend with them, just sayin', they turned out to be ex's....
