Stripers run up and down the Chattahoochee river. I am not aware of FWC stocking any stripers in Seminole. To my knowledge they came from Ga DNR stocking them in Lake Lanier and they traveled down. Ga DNR does still actively stock hybrids or what FWC calls sunshine bass. Saltwater Stripers travel upstream to freshwater to spawn and we catch them in the Ocklocknee and below Seminole dam in early spring. I have not fished a Georgia reservoir or river without some presence of stripers.
