Georgia Boys Fish Camp is 5 minutes North of Crescent and they usually have minnows.

Go north on 17 and when you cross Dunn's Creek, take the first right and follow signs.

OK, go to East Palatka and put in at the East Palatka public ramp. It is very close to Corky Bells Seafood. Launch your boat and head south and fish the pilings and docks all the way down to the Fuel Depot about a mile. If nothing go across the river and fish the brush and pads on the West side. Fish with minnows. It always worked for me.

    Good luck.

Does anybody have much luck in dead lake, and if so where? I can't seem to ever catch many out of there. Any color suggestions would be great also. Thank y'all in advance.

I'm not sure if this is still the Phone number for the bait shop at Dead Lake but this is the address of the boat ramp. Get there early or you'll have a long walk to park your trailer.

I meant you'll have a long walk back after you park your trailer. This cold medicine works too good!

where are good spots at dead lake? Coves, the connector of the lake with crescent, and/or should i go the west or east side? I started fishing at Sardis on the lower lake which is small learned some decent spots then the the upper when it was lower wind and dominated the upper catching 12" plus at some good spots. I dont have a fish finder or any tech and I dont spider rig dont have the money for the gear and dont really care i like to fish the old school way. I am not looking for your best spot just a good area to fish I do not fish that often as i wish once every few months i would like more but cant afford it (no job sucks). You can Pm a a spot if you want
