Kansas fellow fishing with fishwalton the past two weeks, guys if you a chance to share a boat with him do, he a good fisherman but a great individual. We are trying a lake tomorrow where we must develop a pattern, either using jigs or minnows. I not against trolling bandits but with the water temp. being cool the fish could be lethargic. We will post a report----good or bad.

Not a great day if catching counts, only 6 crappie and 3 bream. Cool to start the day and warm up with lite winds. Slow trolling jigs along the grass is the only fish we could find. Interduced

We had a good follow-up day subsequent to the original report. Stopped to check 'the spot' after bombing out salt water fishing in West Bay (Bay County). Only wanted a half dozen for a special meal but got carried away and boxed 17. It's hard to stop when you are having fun and those good days don't come that often. Ran out of minnows so was forced to quit, but we got a few big'uns first.

Hit the same spot today and everything had changed. Very cold and windy front moved in. Two bream and that was it.
