I know several people have had equipment stolen while on the road, let alone the man that was shoot and killed in Jackson, Mississippi. Just looking for some new ideas.
I have a 19 ft carolina skiff with a center console. Place the detector in the console facing toward my motor. You will have to play witn it to find the best location that will not give you false alarms such as passing cars and people.

    Good luck.

Very sad people suck. Talked to my mom in reno today. My brother is disabled veteran in a va hospital (can't walk barely move the rest of his body). He was in there smoking area in his bed and fell asleep and someone stole his iPad. Can't believe people sometimes. That's pretty damn low.

Sorry too hear about that Shu. Someone bagged an outboard of mine years ago, that still burns. Good luck when you go with the resurrected ones.

You find a place in your boat that the senor will detect someone in your boat, not walking around it. I place mine in the center console and aim it at my storage box. This is where they will attempt to steal from. Every boat is different, it you have a tarp, the unit can be placed anywhere and if someone removes your tarp, it should set off the alarm. Work with it, place your alarm on the ground or trailer and play with it.
