going to lake Rousseau

this weekend,,,never been there;;;;my brother lives about 15min.'s away in Yankeetown and has heard goods things about the lake,but he has never fished it either,,,he says there a ramp off of 40 that we will be going to(taking my boat up there) any ADVICE,,we are hoping for speacks but will be happy to catch anything that will be good in a deep fryer....I KNOW about the dangers from the lake with all the logs and trees and will keep the boat at a low idle and use the TM most of the time

Bass fish great bass fishing lake. Be careful, but fish should be turned on down there. Good spinner bait lake.

I never been in it but it's a great looking area...plenty of bait shops you can get advice from etc. You should be ok with idling and TM. Hope you have a goo trip.

Going down through the canal you will be good if yo get on the outside of the canal that is when you riun into the logs and trees. If you go down by the dam it is good fishing down there, it is some big fish that come out of there from bass to shell crackers, blue gills, specks it is a very good fishing area just be careful.
