I have heard good rumors that fishing below Kissimmee Locks is good for a
few miles working the holes and bends - Below River Ranch i cannot say.
I talked to servral who have ridden in pontoon boats down the run from "K"
to "Big O" - most said it was a pretty ride and wildlife was abundant.
Got to carry plenty fuel ...........
Lots of Catfish, Spec's - Gills unknown.

Captankangaroo, Ypu may want to stop in to the big bait store in Lake Wales (on SR60 across from Wallyworld) and ask them about fishing the Kiss river. They helped me out with info a time or two.

Have not fished the ditch, but know some that have. They caught plenty of specks around the Avon Park area. Bombing range. Trolling in the river.

Bridgemasters is the fisherman's candy store, I've got some great deals there.
