Thanks Linda , I will check it out. Does anyone have any advice on how to fish a cold front? I ' ve heard fishing a couple days before and after are better.

Hey guys, I was out fishing on the lake the other day and went to start my motor and pulled the rope all the way out and it didn't recoil. I have a 10 horse evinrude. Doesn't look like anything is broken. Part of the rope slowly recoils and then it stops. Any ideas on what could be wrong?

i agree with John, sounds like recoil spring let go/broke and is only partially
returning ...
Take it apart and check out - most marinias will have correct coil in stock
for you.
Can go on utube and ask direct question -how to repair recoil on 10 hp evinrude motor
