The weather has really been nice last few days.....cool mornings and warm in the afternoon......saw some good fish today but they have not gathered up ......at least where I can find them. Most good fish are being caught in the 18-22 foot of water. I have been fishing in 14 foot and catching some good fish but not Pigs........

I have the truck loaded and ready to head to Talquin Maggies as soon as I get off work tomorrow...Then I'll load the boat and be ready to pull out and head to Talquin early on Friday. I should have internet access (if I pay Rawhide enough $$) and we'll try to give a report daily until Slabfest...Shaping up to be another great event with some new faces and alot of old friends....Gonna miss Speckanator and 65(the Legend)Pontiac, but we'll catch up with them in January at Crescent
