Just went outside to see if the grass was dry enough to cut and noticed the tarp on my boat was half off and the bungees were removed. Looked inside and saw that the two batteries were gone. The cables were cut and the on board charger was gone too.

Wow, sorry to hear about that Andy. It's a shame we cant even protect our stuff even at our own homes. Hope your insurance will cover this stuff, good luck.

That suks. Will your home owners insurance cover that? Or do you have ins. on the boat? Sounds to me like someone knew what you had there.

It's a cryin' shame when things in your own yard isn't safe any more. By what was taken it was probably some junky looking to make a quick score for some more junk. Hope your insurance has you covered.

Was just getting ready to sell the boat (Gheenoe) it's my #2 boat and I just can't keep two boats. My other boat I keep in the garage. Was just going to sell the boat and trailer and keep the motor, but now I think i'm going to get rid of the whole rig.....less the batteries......... I think too that it may have been someone in the area that needed a battery for his boat, they came ready as they cut all the wires and straps off clean.They had to have a car because I don't think they could have carried it off down the street. You just can't have anything nice anymore without some %#€ # trying to take it from you.

Thats a bum deal Andy. I got burned years ago for an outboard, when I had no $. Glad they didn't get anything else. Also glad you didn't catch them in the act, as there's no internet on the inside. We like hearing from you.
