With all of the rain we are getting, the railroad company will have to keep the rail bridge, across the St Johns river open (in the raised position) even for the jon boat fishermen. I was on the river Wed. and I believe that if I stood up on my boat I could have touched the bottom of the rail road bridge.
Good call by speckanator to call off the bream-a-thon.
Rivers and lakes should see a temporary increase in levels. Bet that even SLAB will be able to remove the boat from the boat house now.

I called off the bream-a thong cause everybody's doing wifey chores and can't go.......high water and a good current = good bream fishing....just find the crease (current/calm) and those big un's are staging there facing the current.....waiting for me to throw a maggot in front of em'

Also note: the sycamore leaves are starting to change color = good speck fishing just around the corner!! I'll be getting it wet on Monday!
