    Caught 35 or 40 this morning and held 9 of the biggest hostage........after a photo they were all released unharmed
    Using Gulp pearl white maggots......they love those things!

    I've been waiting for a bluegill update, Gulp white pearl maggots, I'm going to try this weekend thanks Speckanator

    Here's a thought.............anybody interested in bream-a-thon Saturday, August 24th?

    Lake Monroe Park
    $5.00 entry fee per boat
    $1.00 biggest fish per person
    Launch 6AM (or when ever you want)
    weigh-in at 12 noon
    weigh 5 fish
    pay-out: 1st place 50%
    2nd place 30%
    3rd place 20%

    Pack a lunch and bring your beverages for a get-together at the park. Suggestions welcome!
