Dont go gettin yalls boxers in a knot just yet! Still early, but seeing good signs early like last year. Thrre is a ton of bait plenty visible and getting hammered probably by sunshines. But seen the same thing last year at this time instead of early September. We can only hope she unloads early September again this year. Gettin pretty itchy myself!!

I was pushing plastics about .8-1 mph about 5' down in 8 fow. Might do better with minners but I'm covering a lot of water. I came in at 9:30 and it was 91 degrees on my truck reading. I had the umbrella up but it was still HOT!

Got a hot flash at the ramp....fellar said they were getting limits under the 417 bridge on Jessup. Might try that Friday.

I think someone was pullin yrr chain! I eat lunch almost daily at the park and zero traffic at the ramp. And nobody coming in the store with tales or pics. And got several locals that talk fishin almost daily. Now aside from that there is great talk of bass and sunshines very active in old river south of Monroe and mouth of Harney.
