Wow Terry and I obviously do not have enough poles for proper fishing. I can only think of about 15 and im probably forgetting a few but at most we have 20 and that includes salt and fresh. Do we get any bonus points for having gigging, shrimping, crabbing, and scalloping gear?

37 poles. 22 reels. I have 8 spider rig poles from 10-14' that I rarely use do to Ohio's 2 pole rule. Only break them out when I convince a couple buddies to go along for the ride.

I went back and really counted. 51 POLES, 47 REELS. A mixed bag. But I know one guy in Louisiana who has 90 plus jig poles and he said he actually has about 300 total. He fishes 24 at a time if he has 2 people go with him. All double rigged with shiners. A sight to see!!

How many tackle boxes do you have? Counting soft bags and hardshells...............anything you carry from time to time or store jigs and such in...even if they're retired! Don't include plastic see thru trays.

    9. 2 old, but full. 3 that I currently use, 2 fresh(one which contains my crappie jigs in 3 boxes), 1 salt. 1 extra large worm satchel that I swap out with. 1 drop shot satchel. 1 wacky worm satchel. 1 full of deep water cranks /swim baits and spoons. 1 drawer full at my camp and 2 storage containers full in my shop, as well as several of the boxes you said don't count. Is there a 12 step plan for tackleholics?

This thread makes me feel better about myself....I'm NORMAL.....I was wondering if I had a problem....I think I'm getting there but not yet! Now some of theses ya-hoos are holics for sure!! I bet if I asked about shoes....the most anyone would have is 3 to 4 pair (excluding the ladies) T-Shirts = 25, dress/casual shirts = 3, ties = 1, belts = 2

Well no wonder I can't catch anything.
I only have 14 or so poles and 3 soft-sided boxes.

Drift. it doesn't help me catch fish. I am just addicted to buying stuff. I gave away a box full last year as well as a few poles. Speck, you are not normal based on what your friends say on this sight.
I bet my wife has at least a hundred pairs of shoes. Agree with you about the clothes. T-shirts and shorts. Thought about it today looking at the strange tan on my feet and think I only wore shoes once in the past couple months. Flip flops rule!
