Well we ended up staying one night in Apalachicola, then drove to Louisiana and spent a couple nights (but only one day) at Toledo Bend State Park. We caught some white perch (local name for specks) and bluegills and catfish. Gave them away due to the fact I got food poisoningon the first day of our trip and have been sick as a dog all the way through today. Nothing says fun like driving 25 plus hours while being nauseated and such. Schedule changed again so Terry dropped me off at DFW and I'm on a plane to Portland, Oregon. He's heading to Arkansas to spend time with his family then we meet up back in Texas in a few weeks. The redbuds are blooming so its perfect crappie fishing time in Arkansas so he should have fun fishing with his brothers (and no girls to mess up the Bite!)

From what I could tell through my food poisoning haze, Toledo Bend is an awesome place. Will post pics someday when I'm feeling better.
