    Default Lake Harris

Went to Lake Harris pads this morning, had about a doz minnows, caught 7 all females about 1/2 spawned out. Saw a lot of fry so something has been happening. 2 largest were 12.5 inchers will have 'blackened' specks for supper.--shu

Got 5 ounces of minnows this morning, on water with rising sun, no 'flippers', no 'bumpers', no bites but got a shock when i looked over the side of the boat and into the eye of a 10'(why are they always 10'??) gator waved my arms and when it dove it's tail was even with my head. almost eventful. no fish but a beautiful day. Catch a bunch.--shu

sounds exciting, as it warms up thems gators should get more active. I've been seeing quite a few lately.
The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"

Saw a ton of gators and some monsters in the old river bed today. These warm sunny days will bring them to the top. Water was 70 at 7AM and 73 when I left and getting warmer everyday. Yesterday was 68. The bream will be bedding early this year for sure.

Me and my wife took the Jet Ski out there Saturday and ran all the lakes and Dora canal. We must have seen at lease 6 or 7 gators that were 3 times as big as our ski. Think it will be an active season.
