Terry and I went to Hilton Head Island a few weeks ago (I had computer work there) and we took the boat but with 30-40 mph winds we never got it in the water. It sat in the hotel parking lot looking oh so lonely the whole week. Then we went back to Florida, put the RV in storage (boo hoo) and headed to Winter Haven and spent a week or so at the farm. 3 foals were born while we were there and we had a great time with family. Terry is still at the farm and I'm in Durham, NC doing another computer job for a few days but flying home today and then tomorrow we are heading out to Texas for a couple of months and taking the boat with us. We are planning to stop in Apalachicola/Port St. Joe area for a few days to check out the area, but...grrrrr it's supposed to rain tomorrow and Friday and high winds so we might not stop... playing it by ear. I am so ready to get back in the boat and have a fun day on the water doing anything! I really think we would be happy if we lived on a boat full time and traveled by boat but can't figure out all the logistics unless we had a barge so we could fit all our crabbing gear, crab traps, shrimping gear, fishing gear, camping gear, vehicle, flats boat, etc with us. Haven't quite worked that all out... lol.

Anyways, good luck this weekend at the throwdown. Can't wait to see how it goes! Wish we were gonna be there but we have to get to Texas by Monday.

XOXOXOXO to all of our Florida Crappie Forum Family
