Tell slabhurst we're glad he's coming......we will be meeting at the Mt.Dora ramp(Gilbert Park) around 6am some earlier and some later. We won't have the tables set up until we return from fishing. Everyone that brings a side dish etc. usually keeps in their coolers until we all come in for the cookout and weigh-in. The weigh-in time hasn't been decided yet but we'll post that info as soon as it's decided. Once we come in we set up the cook area and fryers etc. We'll have a couple of coolers with ice then. Anything else you need to know just let us know.

Sorry, won't be attending this one in FL- will be attending one in GA. though... Blackshear...thanks Mike(Speckanator) for planting the "seed" last year. After doing some research on white crappie availability, it seems that Blackshear is the closest Lake to FL that offers the two varieties of Specks. Even though the trip should be 4 1/2 - 5 hours. getting the chance to rekindle my childhood(Maryland) catches of both white/black was irresistible. Unfortunately, both fests were scheduled on same day. Already had a GA nonresident annual license from last year waiting for the chance to be reused. Good luck to all @Harris event, especially those still "in the chase".

I am not gonna make it with my boat, fishing partner has other plans BUT
if someone has an open seat or needs a partner (net man) I might make it over.
I can contribute to fuel, bait or drinks & have net - will travel.
The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"
