I have had Water Moccassins on my stringer and fall in my boat quite often in Louisiana. I have caught gators while bass fishing with top water baits. I would much rather a gator(the lizard type) in my boat than a cottonmouth. Them things got a nasty attitude fer being an un invited guest.
Good times with fellowship & eat's, shout-out to all the prep-pees, Slab's generosity aka t-shirts, Speckanator & Slab's neighbors, Big fish locals, & the one and only BillBob, with black nose crappie stories from the North American traveler, only thing miss'n was an ice-cold one, something for next time. Thanks All!!
Just got home and started unpacking......no internet for a couple of day so I'm catching up.....great slabfest indeed and I will post more later...gotta get back to work before the rain.

Yes, special tx's to Ed for the shirt (and flashlight), and, got me a nice mouse pad (needed a new one badly) ........
Cleaning fish this morning (tx's HS) and cleaning boat, then mowing yard = back to the grind ..........
had a great time and good to see everyone. Thanks to the cooks and helpers for the great food again. Me being a non grit eater I had to try Susan's grits since everyone raved about them. And you know what, they were excellant. :ThumbsUp
Thought about bringing some gator tail but then thought this guy just wouldn't look right swimming around with out his.
