Default A fishing vacation of a lifetime

First of all, we would like to thank the Florida C.C group for helping us to learn some of the best crappie fishing lakes we ever fished.

Special thanks to folks like, Speckanator, SlabCrapStu, Crappielover, 65 Pontiac, SYG, Crappiegirl1, Crappieday, TNT,Phantom309, and Fishergurl. I apologize if I missed anyone. You all have a very special group of folks and we are proud to be part of the group this year.

We had a great time fishing all of those beautiful Florida lakes; 12 in all. We caught lots of fish with several in the 1 3/4 to 2+ pound range.

I kept a running total as the days went by. We fished a total of 33 days out of the 53 days in Florida, We caught a total of 892 fish and kept 32 to eat. That means we gave 859 some good exercise and returned them to bite again, hopefully, on some of yall's lines.

We decided to come home two days early because of the storms on the east coast.

We will miss you all for sure, but fear not, we will return next December.

Thank you all for being such a great group and a special thanks to Slab for hosting the C.com site.

    Vic and Eileen

Been watching your posts. You had a great time and rubbed elbows with some good folks in my old stomping grounds. You would have really enjoyed it years back before everything commercialized, but it is still special. Glad you enjoyed.

I can't believe we only fished together once. It was great to follow your excursions on the web. Thanks for posting! You and Eileen are first rate crappie fisherman/woman. Cannot wait to fish with you two next winter!

Vic and Eileen, you are first class fisher people, 27 fish average per trip. I can tell you truly enjoyed each outing and we were able to enjoy it also through your pics. Thank you so much for taking the time to share them with all of us. Have a safe trip home and, " see ya next year"
