Thread: Big fish day

Eileen and I went out this morning and couldent decieded where to go, so we went to the Clermont chain. We were just getting set up and Eileen had 2 long lines in and I had 1 tight line in. All of a sudden she says I'm stuck on the bottom and I look back at her and say you have a fish on reel, reel, reel. Long story short we got the fish in. I netted it and told her this is a big fish, and it was a beautiful 15 7/8" that weighted 2lbs 7ozs. That is her best ever crappie. All morning she wore me out with catching several real nice fish. She referers to me now as her net man. About a half hour before we were going to quit for the day she yells get the net, another big slab that was 15.25". I was so happy for her, it was a day to remember of fishing with my best friend.
