    Default Talquin Question

I was thinking about fishing Talquin Saturday, but weather says ENE wind @9mph. Don't really like fishing with a east wind, but just wanted to know what ya'll thought. Also any reports on the bite lately would be appreciated

Last I heard is that the males were in the back of some of the creeks and minnows were doing the best...I would assume that the females are either staging in the mouth of the creeks or getting close to it...Good Luck!!

Fish are scattered from 18-20 ft on towards the backs of creeks as shallow as 1 ft. The morning trolling bite is best with a better afternoon bite in the shallows with minnows. Shallows doing great at night. The wind should not be a factor if less than 10.
