    Default From Dora to Monroe

My wife Eileen and I had a great day today. We didn't set any records for numbers of fish but most of what we caught were nice size slabs. We put in at 7:20 on Lake Dora as I guess you all know from Speckanators report. Fished for 4 hours with only landing 8 but 6 were very nice fish. We decided to pull out and go to Monroe for the afternoon bite. We managed to land 15 there of witch 5 or 6 were nice size fish. All fish were caught on tipped jigs with crappie nibbles and or minnows. Some came on plane jigs. Most all were in 8' to 10' FOW, 5' to 7' down. We did catch some long lining but most were tight lining.

    Nice Fish
The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"

Really nice looking fish for both of you. Weather looks warm, shorts and tee shirts. We can't wait to get there. Don't give them all a sore mouth before then. See you soon.
