The problem with you keeping them is that you/ya'll might be outta town = no tags = best bet is everyone take care of their own tags,
However, if you want to make em all = that's OK with me = but it better be better'n the one I make up = but, standard tags would be a gooder thing ........

There is a cost involved in making the name tags, not to be taken lightly. Can't put that responsibility on anyone.
If Ginny or Mike wants to make them up, then there should be a cost involved.
Time, equipment and material.
Problem is as I see it, the newcomers, who are not frequent visitors, may not want to "purchase" a name tag. How do we regulate it????

I wasn't talking about terry and me keeping them. We are only in Florida for part of the year. I was thinking Flycaster or Speckanator or someone like that could keep them with the other supplies but that was just a thought. It's fine for everyone to keep their own.

Newcomers would get the stick on kind and if they become regulars they can maybe get one for a small donation. Not sure what to do about costs for the long run but Terry and I will donate the first set to be used for regular attendees at the next slabfest. That way the regular attendees wouldn't have to get a stick on each time.

I wasn't thinking of anything fancy.... Just something typed up and printed out from a regular computer so all of you folks over 40 can read it.... (Ok, ok, I fit that crowd too). Not sure of the best type or cheapest.... Badge with a pin to pin it on or lanyard type so you don't get holes in your good fishing shirt?

Or can the whole idea and just let the newbies wear them in which case I won't have to wear one at the next fest... Lol.

That's a nice offer Ginny, however, I think anyone worth their salt should be
able to make up their own = just submit a sample, folks can copy it and personalize it to themselves, etc, etc, etc .....

oh! Jes! Jack has a laminator and Ginny can come over and we help do them------for some reason he loves laminating--hates fishing (with me) so let him have fun--he laminates every insurance card, everything drives me crazy--------i think its a laminating FEDISH!
