    Default Dora and surronding lakes


    Plan on going there for 2 weeks in first of Jan and wonder how you catch crappie at that time of year,long linning, spidder rig,casting to objects like brush or grass, or shoot docks,never been their before and a friend offerred me a trip there, or is surrounding lakes that is not too far better ? thanks

    OK! Here's Crappiegirl1!!! I heard my name over and over and over---------here i am. In January, its normally spider rigging a little deeper water. If u like to pm me when time gets closer to u being here, i can give u a little better info, everything as u well know will depend on the fronts and weather. i live on the back of Lake Beauclaire on the canal and pretty much fish Beauclaire, Carlton and Dora. The dredging project finishing up on the west side of Beauclaire is gonna change a lot of things and i think for the better.
