    Default A good Monroe morning

Started out calm with just a little nip in the air. The entire lake was covered with floaters making it almost impossible to troll etc. We found a place that wasn't quite as bad and started fishing. Can't say we were on fire but we did ok until the floaters started messing us up. Moved to another area picked up a couple and then the wind started and the lake quickly white-capped. We debated about calling it when the fish started biting so we held on as the boat tossed from side to side and after a short time and just as fast as it started the wind calmed and the water settled. We never found huntinslab's late December area (he won't tell), but it still was good day home by 11:00 with 17.

What is all the junk from? Winds break it off? Terry tried to troll the river but couldn't. Hit the pads and got a nice speck right away and thought he hit a good spot then didn't get anymore for a while so moved on.

    Nice pics!!

It's typical of water rising but there hasn't been any of that going on so it must be the wind breaking up the pads and setting them free. Hopefully they will land somewhere by tomorrow and the lake will be clear. I think cg1 is going to Monroe and I hope she has a clear day. I'm sending you a pm also.
