Florida board contest!!

This will the first of many contests we will be having on the Florida board thanks to Slab who has graciously provided us with some great prizes.


Flycaster and I will be posting the contests, as well as the winners, each time. When neccessary, we will find appropriate judges for the particular contest but in most cases we will serve as judges. We welcome any ideas you have about future contests focusing on maximum participation. We'll be holding these as long as the prizes hold out. Some will be a short time span like two weeks long and some maybe a month long such as photo contests. Feel free to respond with your thoughts and ideas for future contests.


Our first contest will be one that I hope EVERYONE will participate in. Since the bite is slow right now and not everyone is fishing we thought we would start things off with a guessing contest. It's simple, just reply with your guess as to how many bobbers are in the gallon jar. Keep in mind they are NOT all the same size. In case of a tie, the names will be placed in a hat and a winner will be drawn. The prize for this contest will be an assortment of Bobby Garland Baits. This contest will run until midnight, Friday, August 31st. Once a winner is announced we will need a mailing address via PM to provide to Slab. Thanks again Slab and good luck to everyone.

And so you know, these are the all new Bobby Garland colors, we helped pick out via their Color My Baby Shad contest. They are not all Baby Shads though, they are a good variety of the Bobby Garland styles.

And I just submitted a number for kicks. My entry won't count. I already have the baits! lol
