That's the ticket when a new plan comes together, nice specks. The summertime is probably the best time to try new idea's, if it works now I'm sure they'll like it most any ohter time.

I have used them several times within the past year. I am friends with the guy that makes the "208 Crappie Rig" on faceook. It is a alabama rig made out of lighter wires designed for crappie fishing, the head is hollow and you have to add whatever weight you want so it will sink. He sent me about a dozen to try and and spread the word for him if they were productive. I have not spread the word for him because i dont do any better with them than i do with traditional tackle. Its nice to catch fish on something different but to me they were not more effective than the way i normally fish and they were kind of a hassle to fish with. If you did better with the alabama rig than you have been with your normal style of fishing then it sounds like a winner to me, that was just not the case when I used them. It is cool catching fish on things you make yourself so i know your proud of that, good job. If anyone wants one for free I will be glad to share the ones I have since I am not a big fan. i can mail em to anyone that is intrested, just shoot me a pm. Im sure my buddy would be glad if someone caught some fish on em and posted on here with the results, just let me know, i have about 5 or 6 left.

,,,,,,, i have seen some out there and the wire is to heavy thats what i didnt like,, i made some that the wire is the thinest i could get away with ,, and if useing the right coler pastic on it would be the key .... mine i made with 2 or 3 hooks .. i did that so i could use them in a tournament sence the FCC rule is only 2 hooks pre pole... i know they work but i am not throwing everything away just to use them .... i think evrything has a time and a place to be used ... thanks SYG
