It has to be! We've had well over two inches and more to come. Seems Debbie is sitting still and dumping PLENTY of rain on Florida. The St. Johns River is in good shape and so are the connecting lakes. Lake Apopka will finally be flowing north and the Harris chain will be rising soon. Shu will probably post how much pretty soon. He keeps an eye on the water levels over there. You'll be able to get in your boat house with your yacht before you know it!

From the shores of Little Lake Harris:
Since the start of the storm, my rain gauge has recorded OVER 7 inches of rain.
If the St. Johns Water Management doesn't release all of the water thru the Haynes Creek canal at once, the lake levels should come up dramatically. I haven't got to the fishing dock to see the change of water level, but when I do I will report.
Will be interesting to hear from SHU.

Rain is good. BUT. We might not have a shrimp run like we did last year.

With all this rain, the fish will have more water to hide in.......May need the likes of Rawhide, Hooker, TnT, No Mercy, and Chuckauten to come help you find them......

am waiting with interest the update to 'the lake water atlas at the Lake County Water Authority, shows water level on 6/21/2012 at 60.04 ft and a historic norm of 61.31 ft. Have had over 6" of rain so far and the lake behind our home is sure looking better. Should be about 2 days for an update.--shu
