I see that the area around Lochloosa Lake got 10" of rain yesterday/last night. With the rains from the last tropical storm and more from Debbie it should help fill it up. I was at Lochloosa in Feb and it broke my heart to see how low the lake was. Thank you Lord for all the rain we have had and all we will be getting, Amen.

Went to the dock this afternoon and set my GPS on the deck to see what the elevation was. The GPS indicated that it was at 52 feet. Measured to the water surface below the dock and there was a differential of 3 feet. This would indicate that the lake level was 49 feet above sea level. I don't know how accurate this reading is, but it is all that I can offer.

If they don't open the locks south end of Kissimmee, maybe we can finally have some
water as it is about 3 ft low plus as of Saturday afternoon prior to storm comming
in. Hope the people running the locks at West Toho finally get the message that they
should have partially open locks month or so ago to give rest of us some water instead
of hording it for the expensive home owners there.

it will be great to see the lakes come back up. santa fe is still 5 feet low

Clermont chain up 6-8 inches. Still very much short of the 2 feet needed to bring levels back to their normal low water line. Business wise it is Slamming............ 50 wet structures in the first hour of business. Everyone now loves the restoration guys

Still waiting for an update on Lake Harris, so went to Venetian Gardens ramp, water is up some but not as much as i'd hoped, went to Herlong Park(train) the marks on the floatin ramp show about 12" of rise but still about 15" down. Checked the Palatlakaha at Pear Park to see if the water is flowing, it's not but there is some standing water in it. Singletary Park(pier) doesn't look any different (still low) Didn't see any lake level (ft above sea level markers) so will wait for the Lake County Water Authority to updeate the water atlas, found out yesterday it's based on the 1988 bench mark and not the 1929 one.?????????? All in all we need some more water.--shu
