Think about the memories your Dad has given you. You just gave one back.
Had to be a great day for him.

Good job Mike, wish I could take my dad fishing again. Wish I had taken more time off to take him when I was youger.

We all have memories that are "great" or 'sweet" or "memorable", but the ones you have fishing with your daddy are just a special type that will never fade. So here's the sermon for the day - If your lucky enough to still have your daddy, go make some memories. Even if fishin ain't his cup of tea, go make some memories.

Thanks everyone. twospecks... I'm planning a trip to the lake next Wednesday for specks but may be headed out to get some gills and crackers on Monday or Tuesday or maybe both days. Will have to wait to see what the weather is going to do.

Great post Mike, I did a lot of speck fishing with my dad when I was younger. Wish he was still with us so I could take him spider rigging. See you in January.
