I'll be fishing for crackers at the North end of Lake George this week and thought about trailering my boat to Crescent Lake in serch of perch (crappie). Can anyone point me in the right direction as to where or how is a good way to wet a hook?
They didn't fight at all, just pulled real hard trying to get aloose.

Any suggestions on where to launch?

Try looking via google on the west side of the lake in the city (I think the free ramp is off Central street?) Just west of the island. Good luck!

you have 3 options: Georgia Boys on Dunns Creek, the city ramp in Crescent city, or the county ramp in Dead Lake.

I would launch at Georgia Boys, that way you can fish Dunns Creek, St. Johns River, or Crescent. I know you want specks but i hear the crackers are hitting pretty well in the St. Johns close to Dunns Creek, you could prob ride around and find the boats and just jump in.
