Mine shows 8mph at 7AM out of the north then building to 13mph out of the NE by 2PM with rain chance at 20%. Perfect fishing conditions and KFC eating weather!

I hope its like that, I will come either way though. I went to accuweather, what site do you use?

You can look at 10 different sites and get 10 different forecasts. And yep there is fish in the river

yeah you are right about both points. I plan on starting in the river either way.

Been watching this site for a few months. Seems to be pretty much right on.

Windfinder - Wind & weather forecast Sanford Airport/Lake Monroe

Im gonna be honest guys. 15-20 mph winds on my boat is a little scary. Was around Monroe and the river last weekend and 3 times the back of my boat got swamped, by either wind (13 mph) or other boaters. My Tracker just isnt designed to deal with rough water well. We are currently watching closely.........but Im being honest. I would still like to attend the weight in and chowfest (figures right) but im just not sure if my boat is hitting the water.

Stu, you can always fish in the river like I am if the wind gets up. I did better in the river last time anyway.
