I know Stick Marsh/Farm 13 is best known as a bass hole but has anyone fished there for crappie? I got a bud I can stay with in Melbourne and was wondering if it'd be worth my time.
Thanks

Yes there is some good crappie fishing in there i suggest you get a topography map on 1 side its alot of submerged trees on the other use to be rows of orange grove trees also in the far back alot of good matted areas for shade but in the grove area we use to drift tiny rattle traps in chrome black and chrome blue just to where they skim the tops of the groves theres at least 40 rows and at the top of every row as we just nip the mud or grass we got slapped if you got about 12-15 mph winds thats perfect . Also double jig rigg bottom tipped with minnows in black chartruese and green black pepper tubes worked very well too . WARNING ** if you dont know the lake be cautious of BIG SUBMERGED TREES AND STUMPS!!!!!!!!! Also you might want to find info on Garcias resivour just behind the stickmarsh / farm 13 thats another HOT SPOT Im pretty sure its 25 per person with a 10" min slot
