    Default Great time

We hate to see this weekend come to an end. The resort is just that, a true RESORT......the views, inside and outside pool, spa, two restaurants and anything else you could imagine all for $79.00 per night. Thanks Georgia for arranging for a perfect weekend getaway. To top everything off two days of fellowship and good food. It was great to meet these folks face ot face, share fishing stories, and alot of interesting conversation. Here are a few photos. You'll notice I don't identify individuals, because it's like Mr. Jimmy said during Grace, "I won't call names because I know I will leave somebody out" as he thanked everyone for putting this event on. Thanks again to everyone!

Our last night before headed home was the best yet.....watched the sunset once again this time from a waterfront bench in front of our villa then had a super duper grouper samich at the resort's Cypress Grill and listened to the live band. If they have this next year..... I'll be there and I hope some of you folks come too! It was a great weekend getaway.

Mike, It was a great weekend and great to meet you and Susan...While you was enjoying the sunset outside your Villa, we were having dinner on the porch at the restaurant there at the resort..It was perfect weather last night for sitting outside and watching the sunset. We really enjoyed spending some time with you and your wife and hope we can do it again soon...The two of you represented the FL Board well!!!

Huntinslabs, those office chairs have really been a back saver since I have started using them. I have been using them for about 4 years now and I love them...Not very "stylish" for a boat but at this stage of the game, it is all about comfort!!...Speaking of comfort, I was not very comfortable going around that wall to get to my boat. The wall actually stuck out off the dock and directly over the water. Speckanator couldn't decide whether to take a "still" shot of me going around it or video it, just in case I fell in...I could see it in his eyes that he was truly wanting me to go in the water...It would have been posted on here before I could have dried off!!!

If he had of taken the video, you would have seen how fast I scaled that wall...I knew what his mind was thinkingRofl We had a fair weekend of fishing. We kept 30 Friday with only a handful of decent fish. We caught a ton of small fish...Saturday was another day of wading thru the small ones and we only kept 15, but the fish were much bigger. The biggest for the weekend was 1 1/2 lbs and on Saturday we had many 1 1/4 lbers in the boat. We woke up Sunday to 8 mph winds and decided to just stay there in the Villa. When I went to load the boat at 11:30, there were whites caps on the lake and 2 foot swells...Glad we didn't go out....All things considered, we had a great weekend....Now back to realitybanghead
