Been out of touch all day so I feel like I need to catch up… I’ve had days like today (Harris Chain caught 4) on Monroe more times than I can count. This has been an EXCEPTIONAL year for Monroe. And as far as the 7 fish total weight…it’s truly a toss up. I wouldn’t bet a nickel either way and personally don’t care who wins. I have had more fun ditching out smack for the last few days and plan on doing some more. I love the feedback. I don’t think anyone has been offended and like Mr. TnT says, if I offended anyone…well your skin is too thin and I’m sorry. I have the upmost respect for what I consider a Lake that makes legends out of fishermen. I have never met these folks and may never meet all of them, but I feel like I have grown to know them through CdC . I came up with this Idea as a way we could interact with each other and I have had 100% support by everyone. CA1, jump in and smack it up! You may be new to the forum but after you signed on you earned the privilege to post whatever you desire. Rawhide, that swimming pool is 3 miles wide and long. Crappie lover, whining is ok if it’s from them. Pontiac, GREAT cartoon. Mr. Tnt, you bring tears to my eyes. I agree with everything you say. Huntislabs, the coolest video I’ve ever seen. Stu, I hope you and Rocketman are fishing with us that day. Standby for more smack!!!! I’m just getting started.

It takes skill and patience to fish a Lumberyard like Talquin to find where those bigguns are hiding and being able to pull those jigs thru the stumps and pulling out slabs...Now on the serious side(which is uncommon for this thread), on any given day we all know that Talquin can spank Monroe or Monroe can spank Talquin. I think this is the most enjoyable thread I have ever been involved in and it brings the GA/FL fishermen and women just a little closer and I look forward to meeting the ones I haven't met yet. I am hoping to make it to one of their Slabfests in the near future. Even with all the picking at each other, I don't think there is a soul that has had their feelings hurt or been offended..And if there has, I hope they will accept my most sincerest apologyBut I am sure there is more to come over the next 4 weeks!!!...And 1 other thing "Mr. CA1", you have more than 2 posts under your belt so that allows you to talk all the SMACK you want to and welcome to Crappie.com
You guys apparently have a tough place to fish! But it can't compare to fishing the same waters as the dreaded MANATEE! Monroe has so many of the beasts they have put markers in the lake to keep us safe! Flat bottom my A*#@!**@! Welcome to the "Danger Zone"!

Found this hidden in Litewire's guide review. Seems he has a lot of satisfied customers. Probably had TNT video for him.
