Hello and welcome, for crappie on Toho see this post. http://www.crappie.com/crappie/flori...p-weekend.html. and as far as the bass fishing , you would be hard pressed to find a better lake anywhere in the country. Dean Rohas set all of the B.A.S.S. records on Toho with a 5 fish weight of almost 46lbs on day 1, he also set the Day 2, 3 records. I lived on that lake for over 12years and have caught several over 10 and the biggest was 13lbs 4oz. this time of the year i like rippin lipless crank baits through the hydrilla. just position your boat just off of the weedline and through your crank bait towards the weeds and when you feel it hit the weeds just give it a good sharp pull and the hydrilla will come off the hooks and as soon as it starts to fall the bass will tear it up. I prefer the Rapala rattletrap in green and gold the biggest one you can find. it is also a good time for plastic worm fishing. green, purple, gold, black, june bug, pumkin seed, have all worked. it has been a few years since i have fished the lake so i dont know how thick hydrilla is now. a few spots are the NE side of any of the islands in the mornings, the mouth of Shingle creek, for bass, and for crappie (check the link) and also there are some powerlines on the East side of the islands close to Richardsons fish camp, that hold big #s of crappie you will see all the boats, approach them quietly. Good luck and have fun. Joe
