..... I rigged my New Nitro to Spidder rig, But here it is. After talking with Harrold I came up with a Idea on how to do it with out drilling holes in the fiber glass. First attempt was to flimsy. Harrold suggested using 1/2" aluminim. Came out great with his help. It is a shame the first time we used it it only produced 2 fish, but better times coming. Will be nice to have another trick in my arsenal.
Would love to here how you all rig your poles and some tips on speed , with or against the wind ect.

Had petersons trailers weld it and harold tapped it and made the rod holders.

Cost about $150 to put rod holder together and the same for double seat. You would have to measure your boat and have it built custom. mine won't fit on Harolds and his seat fits but needed to be adjusted for my boat.

nice lookin seat. Just gave me a idea on making one. Im gonna have the guys at work weld me one up this week if i can find the material. Im not gonna have the extension for the rod holders though, just want the double seat base. cool lookin setup man. Shane, if i can get one made and it turns out alright i will show it to ya and if you want one i can do my best to get another one made

just curious, but what holes needed to be drilled ad tapped? looks like all ya need is 2 holes for your pedestal seats to mount into. were the taped holes for your rod holders or something?

Use aluminum. lighter. last longer. 3" square tubing and 2 hoes for seats and 1 for the pin in center to hold it all down. What needed to be taped was where the rod holders went. We doubled up the aluminum and tapped it 7/8" deep for the threaded post harold used. Then he used a tube around it and placed a 1" by 27" long piece of steel on top to hold the rod holders. If you look close at the base where the rod holders are you will see what I'm talking about. Good luck.
Now all I need to learn is how too use it right.
