Default City boy needs East Harris Chain lakes help

Trying something new this weekend, and going camping on Lake Beauclair with some friends and kids and while I know there are some tasty specks looming around, I've love some simple advice to make everyone happy in the chain. In exchange I can offer beer and bug spray

    City boy,

I always hear about the big specks in Beauclair, but I have never really fished that lake. I think the guy from Sorrento on this site will chime in eventually. He seemed to have had some success on this lake and Carlton.

Please let me know how you do, I am very curious about how to fish that lake. I know where the deeper water is as the previous post mentioned. I fished it twice last year briefly and caught the big zilch.

Caught 20 this morning on Carlton. Several boats started out on Beauclair then ended up on Carlton. The report was Beauclair was producing limits over the weekend, but dead today. Keep in mind this time of year they are moving around a lot.
