What about Griffin, or Harris, or to a lesser extent Lake Weir in Marion County?

you can find some of the best speck fishing in smaller non pressured lake like all those smaller lakes you pass while heading to the big lake

Forgot about Crescent. But haven't fished George. I was just naming lakes I have fished. Crescent was awesome last year but haven't heard a whole lot this year!

No problem flslabhunter1. I didn't know if you fished all the lakes and if there was a reason why Crescent and George wern't listed. I see so much posted about them. I actually am just getting started fishing for Crap's up in the central and north areas. I have only fished Kiss a few times before and never really got started diligently chasing them elsewhere. This year I hope to fish a lot more this year since my brother is bringing his boat down next month. I really got the bug bad and am trying to learn all I can!
