Friend of mine buys a new boat last year.For the maiden voyage we take it to the state park ,about 25 miles from home.we get the boat ready,I go over all the essentials with him,plug,pfd,whistle.etc,well,he is ready to go.I back him down the ramp,trailer gets into the water,I stop.Wait a minute,nothing is happening,when he motions to pull the boat back out.WTH??Up on top he gets out of the boat,we fasten everything,ask him what the problem was`.he says the keys are on the kitchen table,I asked him why?His reply"did not want anybody to drive my boat out of the yard!!I guess since I put my in the garage it really makes no sense to me.50 mile roundtrip.
